I have had the pleasure of knowing this beautiful lady for quite a number of years and have many fond memories of times spent with her both in the UK and in Canada. She looked after me and my family when we stayed in Shaldon and made sure we enjoyed every minute. We also spent a Christmas with her in Deep River which we throughly enjoyed especially when making the sherry trifle - one glass of sherry for each of us and one for the trifle, repeated several times. I also managed many visits to Deep River when Edith came to visit in the summer months. I will miss this lovely lady but will cherish the memories I have of her. Rest in peace dear Edith. xxxx
